Client is looking for a Tooling Engineer to support our Tool Integration and Offsite department. As a member of the tooling department, you ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside Tool design engineers, Tool Integrators, and Tool Assembly and Offsite personnel. This position will be served on-site at the Plant 42 facility in Palmdale CA .

Responsibilities:

The Tool Engineer shall work with internal/external customers, and colleagues to ensure that the tool meets the customer needs and see it through each phase of the engineering process (Design, Fabrication, and Implementation).

  • Direct Aerospace Tooling experience
  • Execution/Lead/Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
  • Experience shall be in in medium to large scale tooling fabrication and assembly, and/or production fabrication including composites, metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing operations.
  • Direct experience working in with 3D CAD e.g. CATIA, NX, CREO etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience shall be in in medium to large scale tooling fabrication and/or production fabrication including composites, metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical)
  • Composite experience and process knowledge
  • Direct Tool design experience of medium to large scale tooling
  • Direct Aerospace Tooling experience
