Solugenix is looking for multiple IT Incident Technicians based out of Midtown Manhattan, NY (Onsite). Contract to hire opportunity!!!!!
The IT Incident Technician is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues at end-users' desks that disrupt normal operations within an organization's IT systems, for users experiencing computer or network connectivity problems, aiming to restore service quickly and efficiently by following established incident management processes.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE 5+ years of desktop support experience working onsite.
- Ability to systematically troubleshoot connectivity issues with clients and networks through the use of command prompts.
- Troubleshoot Outlook issues.
- Computer HW/SW, (Windows 10/11), basic network fundamentals.
- Strong verbal and written communication. Able to provide professional customer service to end-users in person.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Mobile computing.
- Configure network connectivity, VPN, and MFA.
- Able to document and work tickets in a ticketing system.
- Resolve incidents and problems associated with End User Computing & IT Infrastructure.
- Support users attempting to connect to corporate network; assist in accessing VPN, print, and file services.
- Configuring network connectivity, VPN, MFA, and access to resources.
- Create and maintain support documentation.
- Familiarity with incident management systems to log, track, and prioritize tickets.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems efficiently and logically
- Be able to support End-Users at their desk.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; interpersonal and customer care skills.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $20/hour to $22/hour with an increase of $2/hr upon hire . Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
