Job Title: UI Developer React.js
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid - 2days onsite)
Duration: Long-term contract.
Rate: $48/hr. On W2
Job Description:
Walmart is seeking a Senior UI Developer with deep expertise in React.js and a proven track record of building scalable, enterprise-grade web applications. As part of Walmart s highly agile, fast-paced engineering team, you will contribute to enhancing customer-facing digital experiences that power one of the largest retail ecosystems in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated, reusable front-end components using React.js, TypeScript, and Redux.
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes and business requirements into high-quality, responsive code.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Backend Engineers to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.
  • Follow Walmart s secure coding standards, accessibility (WCAG), and performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, maintaining coding best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues in real-time.
  • Work in CI/CD environments and Agile/Scrum teams using Jira, Git, Jenkins, and similar tools.
Required Skills:
  • 9+ years of overall front-end development experience, with 5+ years in React.js.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end architectures.
  • Experience with Redux, React Hooks, Context API, and component-based design.
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous request handling.
  • Familiarity with unit testing (Jest, Enzyme) and E2E testing (Cypress, Selenium).
  • Exposure to micro-frontend architecture is a plus.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and cross-browser compatibility skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
