About the Role:
As an IT ERP Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team responsible for the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program within our client's IT SAP Center of Excellence (COE). Your focus will primarily revolve around the Sales and Distribution functions, contributing to the implementation of technology-enabled solutions for complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of talented individuals in designing and implementing technology-enabled solutions for complex business needs.
- Collaborate in the development of systems requirements, functional specifications, designs, and prototypes.
- Oversee SAP configuration and testing to meet project requirements, including documentation of As Is and To Be processes.
- Identify and define SAP application interfaces, enhancements, and conversions to optimize application utilization.
- Recommend solutions for requirements not met by existing applications, potentially involving modifications or new software.
- Lead testing, training, and implementation activities, ensuring successful user acceptance and end-user training.
- Provide post-go-live support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) with 5-6 years of experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP implementation experiences.
- Strong capabilities and experience in SAP configuration (IMG) for Sales & Distribution (SD) area.
- Experience with Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock strategies within SAP.
- Familiarity with internal, multi-plant supply chain dynamics to service customer demand.
- Prior hands-on functional experience in an SAP implementation with a focus on system design and configuration.
- Desired experience with SAP's Variant Configuration functionality.
- Ability to analyze current and future business processes, identifying fit/gap against SAP system functionality.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage both small and medium scale projects concurrently.
- Strong mentoring and team development capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma concepts preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
