Job Description:
Role: EPBCS Support Engineer
Need narrative reporting and EPBCS
- Primarily EPBCS, but will work with PCMCS or EPCM experience- Will be looking for expertise with Cloud aspects of EPBCS
- Application maintenance and support (not development-heavy)
- Part of a larger FPA modernization project (PeopleSoft → Oracle Cloud)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support existing Hyperion/EPBCS and PCMCS applications
- Handle front door ticketing, monitor issues, and troubleshoot
- Modify business rules based on changing requirements
- Assist with metadata updates, application rollovers, and minor enhancements
- Collaborate with finance teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Conduct triage/root cause analysis and manage user frustrations with empathy
- Help ensure go-live timelines stay on track
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS and PCMCS
- Solid understanding of income statements; finance background required
- Skilled in writing business rules, managing forms, and troubleshooting
- Certifications not required—real-world experience is key
- Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical needs
