Electrical Engineer (PCB)

Position: Electrical Engineer (PCB)
Location: Holyoke, MA (100% on-site)
Duration of project: 6-12 months

Required:

• Build and finalize intricate multilayer printed circuit board designs for systems driven by embedded processors.
• Formulate circuit architecture capable of handling signals up to 500 megahertz and voltages reaching 5000 volts.
• Incorporate STM32 series microcontrollers into specialized hardware setups.
• Oversee the entire physical configuration of boards including mechanical support and integration into protective housings.
• Use tools like Autodesk Fusion or comparable software for detailed schematic drawing and board layout
• A university degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline is required.
• At least three years of accumulating experience in these areas is essential
• Designing and laying out PCBs for embedded processors.
• Developing circuits for both high-speed and high-voltage applications.
• Integrating STM32 microcontrollers into custom hardware.
• Mechanical design and assembly of electronic devices.
• Taking products from initial design through to final production deployment
• Demonstrated skill with Autodesk Fusion or equivalent Electronic Design Automation software.

Preferred:

• Practical experience with the Microchip PIC32 family of microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with LoRa for wireless communication.
• Competency in writing embedded C code for processor control.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling techniques for integrating enclosures with electronics
