job summary:

Seeking an Audio Visual Support technician to provide support for live events, presentations, and video conferencing equipment.


We are searching for a Network Administrator to help transform our client's network and to protect our customers and brand. Network Administrator will implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. This person will also collaborate with our corporate security team to design and build security controls to protect our environment. The successful candidate will have served in a similar role in a Fortune 500 environment and would have significant experience in supporting global networks.

Job Duties -


Implement products, platforms, software, hardware, or appliance-based solutions related to network and network security.


Provides first level technical support to users concerning network operations.


Diagnoses problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.


Consistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance


Interface with management and vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements.


Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations


Monitor organization's networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.


Use network tools for administration, maintenance, automation, and visualization reporting


Develops technical documentation describing the deployment, configuration, and management of network infrastructure.


Participates in IT security audits. Responds to existing audits and ensures required controls are implemented as required.


Capability to handle on-call responsibilities


Job Requirements -


Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)


Candidate must have LAN/WAN technical skills and experience with the following L2 and L3 protocols and technologies such as STP, 802.1q, IPSec, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, VPC, QoS, 802.1x. Be familiar with Cisco IOS-XE and NXOS.


Candidate must be familiar with various platforms - Aruba Wireless, F5, Riverbed, Cisco (Catalyst, ISR, ASR, Nexus).


Must have an understanding of open-source and other tools to assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis.


Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail


One or more of the following certifications: Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP


Flexible schedule, including the ability to work nights and weekends


B.S/MS in Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience

responsibilities:

Works directly with business customers to deliver enterprise quality support services in audio visual collaboration spaces and technologies


Provides technical expertise and collaborates with other team members to troubleshoot issues


Identify potential system problems and develop solutions/repairs. Perform maintenance and repair tasks on all video conferencing equipment


Collaborate with information security, application and support teams in resolving video and audio technology issues


Maintains quality level support and services around these products (Microsoft Surface Hubs, Meeting Services (Teams, Zoom), Crestron Microsoft Teams Room Technology, etc.)


Assists in the install of large scale video conference projects while also integrating them with complex network computing environments


Communicates complex details in a way that people can understand while collaborating with people at all levels in the organization and ensuring all are supported and informed


Able to work with minimal supervision, manage daily workload, able to work independently, and prioritize work based on business need


Remain up to date on current and evolving conference room audio visual technologies with the expectation of obtaining and keeping certifications current




qualifications:

Job Requirements -


2 years of experience in a technology environment support leveraging networks, voice, data, and video tools


1-2 years of experience in implementing, and supporting audio and video technologies


Effective communicator with the ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders


Superior customer service mindset and solution delivery focus


Independent and able to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities


Crestron, Shure, Dante Certifications Preferred but not required


CTS, CTS-D, and/or CTS-I Preferred but not required

Desired Skills & Experience -


Knowledge of Aruba ClearPass, SolarWinds and HPE routing/switching equipment is a plus.
