Job Description:

Tools and/or software will they be utilizing? PostgreSQL, Python, Juptyer Notebooks, AWS S3, Redshift, SQL Server, Master Data Management, Data Cataloguing/Data Lineage Tools, Salesforce.com
4-6 years experience doing the following:
Data analysis, data governance and/or business systems analysis
Participating in and facilitating meetings for the Data Governance Council.
Creating and utilizing data governance scorecards to support Data Governance Council discussions and decision making.
Documenting and recording information, decisions, and recommendations made by the Data Governance Council.
Supporting the development of the Data Governance vision and framework while remaining aligned with overall business objectives.
Developing, documenting, and maintaining definition, production, usage, classification, and compliance rules across multiple business units to support the enterprise management of data.
Communicating all data rules to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborating with data owners and data custodians to identify and resolve more complex data governance issues in a timely and collaborative manner.
Supporting the analysis and documentation of data capture standards associated with new products.
Serving as a resource to internal stakeholders on more complex Data Governance solutions which optimize client requirements and achieve desired business results.
Communicating regularly with team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and champion business analytics.
Maintaining an understanding of how the data contained in various systems are utilized and marrying various aspects of the data into a usable format to support decision making.
Escalating highly complex issues to management/Data Governance Council when necessary.
Research and identify new structured and unstructured data and verify its quality, accuracy and reasonableness.
Propose new solutions to improve the data and technology platform.
Performing other duties as required
