Job Details

DayToDay Responsbilities:



  • Drive and manage project schedules, including 2-week lookaheads, while resolving critical path issues and field-level roadblocks

  • Lead and coordinate contractors and vendors on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and PPE compliance

  • Oversee field execution, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specifications, and end-user expectations (heavy MEP/CSA focus)

  • Develop and maintain site logistics plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve design or construction challenges

  • Attend and actively participate in OAC meetings to maintain alignment across teams and stakeholders

  • Complete, review, and enforce safety documentation including PTPs, and lead regular quality and safety inspections

  • Identify risks early and find creative, hands-on solutions to meet aggressive timelines in a fast-paced environment


Must Have:



  • 7+ years of experience on large commercial, industrial, or manufacturing construction projects

  • Hands-on field experience; ideally someone who s risen through the trades (e.g., carpenter, plumber, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of MEP/CSA systems and ability to interpret architectural, civil, structural, and electrical drawings

  • Comfortable leading contractors and holding teams accountable to safety and quality standards

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and a solid understanding of short-term construction scheduling

  • Willingness to be 80 90% in the field and lead by example on safety and performance

  • Exposure to budgeting and scheduling processes, even if not directly managing them

  • Strong cultural fit with Tesla s fast-paced, safety-first environment


NiceToHave:



  • Experience working in R&D labs, clean rooms, or similar environments

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam for markups or drawing reviews
