Strategic Deterrence Systems Test Equipment Software Engineer

The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Systems Test Equipment Software Engineer to support the Strategic Deterrent Systems team located in Layton, UT. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Services (BDS) business organization.

As a Software Engineer on the Strategic Deterrent Systems team at Boeing's Little Mountain Test Facility, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of test equipment software. You will utilize LabVIEW and other tools to create robust software solutions that support our site operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team environment where your contributions will directly impact the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications for test equipment using LabVIEW and other programming tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of test equipment.
Conduct software testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Document software designs, processes, and procedures to maintain clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

5+ years of experience with LabVIEW and experience with software development tools and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Familiarity with hardware integration and testing processes is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
