RESOURCE(S) SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & CAPABILITIES
- Offeror shall propose a resource possessing the following preferred skills, experience, and capabilities: a. Experience with: (1) Working in a complex networked system environment with strong networking. (2) Administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems. (3) Administering systems including, but not limited to, the applications below: i Oracle WebLogic Servers ii Oracle Database Servers iii Progress 4GL/Database Servers/OpenEdge iv Apache Web Servers v vSphere hosted RHEL Servers. vi Rubrik backup systems. vii Oracle Database backups. viii PeopleSoft ix Mobius x Elastic Search xi Oracle OBI xii CVS (Concurrent Version System) (4) Red Hat performance tuning. (5) Load balancing, partitioning, back-up/recovery, and disaster recovery. (6) Working in an environment that requires 24/7 system availability. (7) Application development. (8) Red Hat Support. (9) Electronic Imaging Support. b. Ability to: (1) Work in a team environment. (2) Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel. (3) Demonstrate leadership skills. (4) Interface with users and helpdesk for day-to-day support. (5) Provide Backup/recovery and networking methodologies. (6) Troubleshoot at the Operating System (OS), database, and application levels. c. Knowledge of: (1) Red Hat administration including configuration and tuning
The Offeror shall propose a resource that meet the following minimum qualifications: a. Bachelor's degree, or postgraduate degree, in engineering, computer science, or related field (as determined by the AOC). b. Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator. (1) Certification must be issued by Red Hat and include the resource's valid certification number. 2. The AOC prefers the Offeror's proposed resource to have the following qualifications: a. Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Red Hat system administrator. b. Ten (10) or more years of experience administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems. c. Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) field.
