This role will focus 90% on configuring, supporting, and optimizing Oracle Cloud Payroll for US operations, with 10% involvement in Benefits and Journeys modules.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge, hands-on implementation experience, and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary (90%) US Payroll
Lead the design, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud HCM US Payroll.
Configure and test payroll elements, fast formulas, payroll definitions, costing, and tax configurations.
Ensure accurate payroll processing in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.
Partner with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams to support payroll audits and reporting requirements.
Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and implement enhancements or patches as needed.
Optimize payroll processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 and tax filings.
Secondary (10%) Benefits with Journeys
Support the implementation and configuration of Oracle Cloud Benefits module.
Configure eligibility profiles, enrollment windows, life events, and plan types.
Contribute to the design and delivery of Oracle Journeys to improve employee experience.
Assist with integration points between Payroll and Benefits.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least 3+ years in Oracle US Payroll.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fast Formulas for Payroll.
Proven experience configuring Payroll elements, balances, and costing.
Knowledge of federal and state payroll compliance and tax regulations.
Experience with Payroll Reporting and Reconciliation.
Working knowledge of Benefits module and Journeys functionality.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
