Job Details
Job Title: Mulesoft Developer
Project Name: IDHS Grant Management System
Location: Largely Remote
Duration: 1 Year
Key Responsibilities
Core Competency:
- Hands-on in designing, building, and maintaining integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and related tools.
- Build and manage APIs (REST/SOAP) and integrations following API-led connectivity principles.
- Implement reusable integration components, connectors, and data transformations (DataWeaver).
- Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Mule flows and integrations.
- Design and develop comprehensive unit tests using MUnit.
- Apply error handling, retry logic, and logging best practices across flows.
- Manage deployment pipelines and CI/CD configurations using tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
- Maintain documentation related to interfaces, processes, and solutions delivered.
Experience:
- 3-4 Years using MuleSoft 4.
- Understanding of API lifecycle management, including designing specifications using RAML.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL).
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Working knowledge of application/network security, OAuth 2.0 and role-based access control.
- Experience with standard development processes.
Certifications:
- MuleSoft Developer Level 1 (minimum)
- MuleSoft Developer level 2 (preferred)
- MuleSoft Platform Architect (nice to have)
