Description

At Rinker Design Associates, LLC, we're seeking a talented Utility CAD Designer to be a vital part of our team, focusing on Utility Design and Coordination. This is your opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape real communities and infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Produce preliminary and final plans and drawings using CAD software with a high level of quality, accuracy, and clarity
- Prepare detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications for water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, and dry utility relocation or undergrounding projects
- Assist in performing utility relocation coordination services for transportation projects
- Collaborate with engineers, coordinators, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are consistent and coordinated
- Maintain adherence to CAD production standards and file management procedures
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or greater (Associates preferred)
- 1-2 years of AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or MicroStation drafting experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders
- Ability to work accurately and produce high-quality drawings and documentation
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
