Job Title: Senior Enterprise Architect
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Type: (6+ Months Duration)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is pivotal in defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework that integrates cloud solutions, applications, data, and security to align with business goals, particularly within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep architectural knowledge, leadership, and collaboration skills, and a strong grounding in TOGAF standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and governance models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, infrastructure, security, application development) to ensure cohesive architecture strategy.
  • Guide enterprise-wide architecture initiatives including data strategy, application integration, and cloud solution adoption.
  • Evaluate and recommend EA tools (e.g., LeanIX, iServer) to drive efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide architecture oversight on digital transformation, cloud adoption, and modernization projects.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to align IT strategies with enterprise goals.
  • Contribute to innovation and strategic technology planning through roadmap development.
  • Participate in and support Agile development practices and ARB/ALM management.
  • Ensure all architectural decisions comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of IT experience, including 7+ years in enterprise architecture.
  • TOGAF certification with demonstrated hands-on experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of EA principles, governance, and best practices.
  • Experience with EA tools such as LeanIX, iServer, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and solution design trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple technology domains (e.g., data, infrastructure, security).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of change and release management practices.
  • Experience in regulated industries (electric/gas utility or insurance) is a plus.
  • Commitment to ethics, compliance, and company values.
