Senior Fullstack Software Engineers

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for Senior Fullstack Software Engineers. Qualified candidates will be designing, building and optimizing Golang-based microservices and backend systems to support Service Mesh platform using Golang, AWS, Terraform, MongoDB, Dynamo, JavaScript, IAM, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GIT; Writing high performance, maintainable and scalable code to handle production workloads; Maintaining and troubleshooting Service Mesh components, ensuring high availability and reliability across all environments, including production; Working on Golang services that interact with Kubernetes; Coordinating AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the Service Mesh; Developing Golang applications that integrate with cloud-native technologies like AWS, EKS and Kubernetes; Migrating and optimizing Jenkins pipelines for various mesh-related projects, ensuring smooth integration of Golang-based services and automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline; Ensuring that Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tests are integrated into the development cycle, running regularly and providing valuable feedback to developers; Focusing building high-quality, testable Golang code; and Building and maintaining a user interface (UI) for managing mesh component configurations.

Salary: $55.00 to $90.00/hr.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one years' experience in position or IT field (or 3 year diploma or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and three years of experience in position or IT field).

Special requirements: Experience with Golang, AWS, Terraform, MongoDB, Dynamo, JavaScript, IAM, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GIT. Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic client sites in US required.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
