Job Details

A fast-growing digital entertainment platform is looking for a Director of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the design, scalability, and reliability of its real-time, high-volume infrastructure. Serving millions of users across web and mobile, this is a critical leadership role responsible for aligning platform performance with aggressive product and growth goals. You'll be the senior owner of SRE strategy, infrastructure operations, incident response, and reliability tooling.

This role demands deep experience scaling distributed systems, leading high-performance teams, and influencing architecture across engineering organizations. The ideal candidate has led reliability efforts in top-tier B2C environments, where availability, observability, and automation were mission-critical. Experience in Google Cloud Platform environments is required, along with a clear track record of building mature, cloud-native operational practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Director-level experience leading SRE or DevOps in a high-scale B2C company with millions of users and demanding uptime requirements
  • Extensive hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), including architecture, networking, and service management at scale
  • Strong background in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD tooling, and modern observability stacks (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Deep understanding of SRE principles including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and incident management best practices
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments
  • Background in compliance-heavy sectors or experience designing systems for security and regulatory alignment
