IT Lead Workday HCM

We're looking for a skilled Workday professional to lead the configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of Workday HCM modules. Workday Configuration & Implementation:
  • Manage the business process and integration configuration and customization of assigned Workday modules to meet specific business requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Oversee the system testing, validation, and deployment of Workday features and updates.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal and other departments to ensure Workday solutions meet functional requirements.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from business stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal, Commercial, etc.) to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure Workday system architecture is scalable and meets business needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the HRIS process leads, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Continuous Improvement & Support:
  • Support the product vision and strategy for Workday HCM modules, in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of assigned Workday modules and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support for Workday-related issues and enhancements, working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Workday releases, features, and industry best practices to continuously improve product offerings.

Analytics & Reporting:
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned Workday product performance and monitor progress against goals.Analyze usage data, user feedback, and business outcomes to inform decision-making and product iterations.
  • Develop and deliver reports to stakeholders on the progress of Workday initiatives, product performance, and ROI.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; Must have an undergraduate degree in business, management information systems, computer science or equivalent job-related experience; PMI Certification is desired but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in project management of varied complexities and scope
  • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically
  • Previous experience taking a product line to market is preferred
  • Proficient in Project Management tools (i.e., MS Project) or similar project tool (s)
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

Position Summary

The Product Manager manages company-wide products throughout the product lifecycle. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Product Management
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product scope and goals.
  • Lead efforts to gather and translate business requirements into system specifications.
  • Gain a deep understanding of business processes, use cases, and data needs of stakeholders.
  • Define product roadmap, including features/milestones for major and minor releases.
  • Partner with Executive Stakeholders to build consensus.
  • Evaluate the suitability of various platforms and technologies, suggest alternative approaches and recommend technical solutions, methodologies or strategies.
  • Perform research to commercialize a product line
  • Managing major systems and platforms

Strategic Planning
  • Work with Leadership to develop product portfolios for IT Service offerings. Develop a strategy for the implementation and rollout of these service offerings.
  • Utilize a wide array of analytical and design tools to understand and address the needs of the enterprise (running workshops, stakeholder interviews, secondary research, working with specialists).
  • Network and collaborate with business units in the company to assess needs across the various business units and identify strategic opportunities to consolidate systems and capabilities.
  • Consult with business units to understand current business processes and provide recommendations on how to leverage technology to streamline processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Must have an undergraduate degree in business, management information systems, computer science or equivalent job-related experience. PMI Certification is desired but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in in project management of varied complexities and scope.
