Database/Adabas Admin

Requirements:

• 8 or more years of experience managing Adabas databases and Natural in production environments.
• Proficiency in CONNX or similar Adabas data access tools including setup and support.
• Experience with role-based access control, auditing, and security in regulated systems.
• Experience in performance tuning, backup/recovery, and scripting using Natural utilities.
• Experience with broader Software AG tools such as NaturalONE, Predict, and EntireX.
• Experience in managing data dictionaries and SDLC processes across multiple environments.
• Strong communication skills with ability to create technical documentation and user guides.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Adabas/Natural environments for production and development systems.
• Set up and manage data access tools for internal teams and external users.
• Implement and maintain security controls and compliance documentation.
• Conduct environment refreshes, performance optimization, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Utilize Software AG tools for development, integration, and administration tasks.
• Maintain change control practices across dev, test, and prod systems.
• Write user support materials and assist analysts with platform functionality.
