Reporting Analyst

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 2-3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Must be highly competent with Excel
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or VBA
• Some experience in the ABS/CLO/CMBS/RMBS industry
• General knowledge of databases, software and overall process design
• Proficiency with cash-flow modeling of securitized products
• Proficiency with bank loan or repo facility cash and account reconciliation

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Access, SQL and or ETL experience.

What You Will Be Doing

• Follow procedures to assist with the set up and processing of monthly ABS, CLO, CMBS, and RMBS, and the build-out of related automation
• Perform cash and loan transaction account reconciliation, and assist in the build-out of related automation
• Perform reconciliation reporting and position statement review, and assist in the build-out of related automation
• Assist with documentation of requirements, use cases, and related testing data
• Follow detailed system-to-system deal migration scripts to:
  - Perform standard python-code modifications
  - Test deal and data for completeness and accuracy
  - Create reconciliation and validation tools for structured finance transactions utilizing Excel and/or python
