Corporate Controller
Finance and Administration | San Jose
The Corporate Controller will serve as a key financial leader responsible for overseeing the
company’s worldwide accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
This role will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with
U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements, while supporting the company’s growth as a
semiconductor business with complex revenue arrangements, cost structures, and equity
compensation programs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Financial Reporting & SEC Compliance
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Own all SEC reporting activities, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements,
and related disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements, maintaining effective internal
controls over financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary accounting liaison with external auditors and advisors.
Accounting Operations & Team Leadership
• Lead and develop the accounting organization, including general ledger, revenue,
AR, AP, payroll, and technical accounting.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency across accounting
operations.

Revenue Recognition
• Oversee revenue accounting and ensure compliance with ASC 606, including
complex customer contracts, variable consideration, rebates, and rights of return.
• Partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Operations to review and approve customer
contracts for accounting implications.
• Maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures, and documentation.
Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) & Inventory Accounting
• Oversee accounting for COGS, including wafer fabrication, assembly and test,
foundry costs, logistics, and manufacturing variances.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve cost visibility and margin
analysis.
Accounts Receivable & Credit
• Oversee accounts receivable, billing, cash application, credit policies, and
collections.
• Monitor customer credit risk, reserves for doubtful accounts, and days sales
outstanding (DSO).
Stock-Based Compensation & Equity Accounting
• Oversee accounting and reporting for stock-based compensation under ASC 718.
• Partner with Legal and HR on equity plan administration, option grants, ESPPs, and
modifications.
• Ensure accurate valuation, expense recognition, disclosures, and reconciliation of
equity accounts.

Technical Accounting & Policy Development
• Research and implement accounting guidance for new or complex transactions
(e.g., revenue arrangements, business combinations, debt, leases, equity
transactions).
• Maintain the company’s accounting policies and procedures documentation.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
• Partner with FP&A on forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Provide financial insight and guidance to executive leadership.
WORK REQUIREMENTS
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience in a public company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and inventory/COGS
accounting.
Preferred
• Prior experience in the semiconductor, hardware, or manufacturing industry.
• Big Four public accounting background.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).
