Title:

Graphic Designer

KBR is seeking a highly qualified Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) support for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). GED delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable the NRO to plan and execute intelligence-gathering missions from NRO overhead systems and process the resulting collected data into useful information distributed to IC and DoD users.

As a Graphics Designer, you will provide web and graphics support to the GED directorate. You will be working within multi-disciplinary hardware, software, system integration, and data analysis/collections teams that are creating systems that support our customer's missions/requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly Required
  • Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts (BS/BA) in Technical, Communications, or IT related field, with 10+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with Intelligence Community and/or DOD programs
  • Demonstrated experience in NRO programs
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior executives and participating in executive level meetings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to fully coordinate project schedules
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling graphical products
  • Ability to leverage a variety of tools such as PowerPoint; Adobe suit; Maya/3Ds Max
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across organizational boundaries to accomplish mission goals
  • Prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts
  • Plan, analyze, and create original visual solutions to communications projects
  • Identify the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.
  • Develop the overall layout and production design of publications
  • Use perspective, isometric, orthographic, and schematic techniques to prepare technical and non-technical illustrations and line drawings for slide presentations, view graphics, reports, brochures, etc
  • Produce promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures for products and services, design distinctive artwork, banners, and logos, and develop signs and signage systems
  • Create and fabricate wall designs, frames and artwork
  • Design and construct achievement, appreciation, retirement, etc. awards and certificates
  • Develop material for Web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects
  • Gather relevant information by meeting with stakeholders, creative directors and by own research
  • Prepare sketches or layouts by hand or with the aid of a computer to illustrate vision
  • Work closely with a team of fellow Systems Integrators and Communication Officers
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling graphic products to convey strategic information to senior stakeholders across GED, the NRO, and the broader IC
  • Provide a total system perspective to the role, including a technical understanding of GED products, partnerships, dependencies and capabilities


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the NRO System Engineering process
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience with SIGINT and GEOINT systems
  • Experience or knowledge of GED systems
