AV Support Specialist

Location: New York City, NY
Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $85,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client in the legal services industry currently seeking a AV Support Specialist to join their office full-time in New York. You will have the opportunity to work for a top AM Law Firm. They are looking for someone who can handle AV administration. This candidate requires knowledge of both AV and VC technical support.

This is a full on-site position. You will report to the IT Manager.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Record any incidents, service requests, or meeting support in the internal database system.
• Help with any ticket requests and helpdesk requests.
• Set up of AV equipment.
• Help maintain relationships with global IT/AV vendors.
• Handle all preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help with 1st and 2nd level technical support issues.
• Act has local technical host of event experiences.
• Manage remote VC and AV meetings via Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.
• Handle any video conference software updates.
• Help with all pre-event testing of video and audio, ensure everything is set up and working correctly.
• Coordinate all AV installation and repairs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience working with ticketing monitoring systems.
• Previous AV and VC experience.
• Expert level knowledge of Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and other video conferencing systems.
• Minimum 2 years of A/V technology and meeting rooms experience.
• Experience working in a law office is highly desirable but not required.
