A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking an Instructional Designer to support training initiatives within the back-office business area.


About the Opportunity:




  • Assignment Length: Long term




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: 8am to 4:30pm




  • Location: Remote, but preferably candidates located in Pensacola, FL; Winchester, VA; or, Vienna, VA




Responsibilities:




  • Administering the training platform, including transitioning training content into the system




  • Researching and implementing updates to existing or new training plans




  • Developing learning solutions and instructional content to support employee upskilling programs




  • Creating reference materials, support tools, and leader-facing resources that reinforce strategic learning




Qualifications:




  • 2+ years of experience in Instructional Design and/or Learning & Development




  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)




  • Hands-on experience with Axonify or a similar LMS platform




  • Strong content development and writing skills




  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities




  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines




Desired Skills:




  • Experience supporting training initiatives in Back Office and/or Financial Services environments




  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design best practices




  • Familiarity with Microlearning principles




  • Proficiency with tools such as Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva
