Senior Software Sales Consultant

The ideal candidate is a result driven, technically savvy sales professional with C level experience and a solid understanding of finance processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build a strong pipeline working closely with lead generation and marketing teams.
  • Develop a strong understanding of all products and apply business knowledge to analyse customers current process to identify ways to increase efficiencies and streamline using the software.
  • Prepare and deliver quality presentations.
  • Create quotations, proposals and present responses to the highest standards.
  • Independently demonstrate solutions to new customers, online or in person.
  • Manage and develop business relationships with clients.
  • Provide input on sales strategy and contribute to strategic and tactical marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the consulting technical team to deliver successful customer projects.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years with demonstrated success in selling in the software sector.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, preferably within the Finance and ERP space, with fundamental knowledge of IT principles.
  • College degree or similar qualification in a technical or business discipline.
  • Proven track record in new business sales in in Finance, AP or ERP environment.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and proactively generate new leads.
  • Experience presenting to and negotiating with prospective customers at all levels.
  • Motivated and versatile team player that can work on own initiatives.
  • Skilled in delivering multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of Sales CRM and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
