Job Description:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced LabVantage Business Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of LabVantage LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
- The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, scientists, QA teams, and IT to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and ensure that LabVantage solutions align with organizational needs.
- ct as the liaison between scientific/business teams and technical teams for LabVantage LIMS projects.
- Gather, document, and analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- ssist in the configuration and customization of LabVantage to support laboratory workflows.
- Develop and execute test plans and support validation efforts including IQ/OQ/PQ.
- Support data migration, integration with instruments, and other enterprise systems.
- Facilitate user training and create end-user documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with the technical team for resolution.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2-4+ years working specifically with LabVantage LIMS.
- Strong understanding of laboratory processes in pharmaceutical, biotech, or research environments.
- Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation practices.
- Proficient in creating user stories, business process flows, and functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies, especially Agile.
- Understanding of system integrations (e.g., instruments, ERP, ELN, MES).
- Experience with SQL or scripting languages for data analysis or reporting.
- LabVantage certification or hands-on experience with LabVantage 8.x version. - Added/Preferred.
