Job Details
Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior Developer to joina large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This role is responsible for the full software development lifecycle from analysis and design to programming, implementation, and maintenance of complex enterprise applications.
This role is hybrid requiring 3 days/week onsite.
What You ll Do:
- Serve as a technical leader, providing expertise in cloud and big data technologies while guiding junior team members and ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
- Design, develop, test, and implement complex applications and integration solutions.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Perform system analysis and design to solve complex business or scientific problems.

Provide design recommendations and participate in data architecture, product evaluation, and build vs. buy decisions.

Develop and maintain programming standards, ensuring efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.

Lead and coordinate phases of large projects, guiding junior developers and resolving cross-team issues.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve defects in existing code while ensuring long-term application performance.

Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and quality control practices to improve development efficiency.
What You Need:

Strong proficiency with big data and cloud-based technologies, including:

AWS Services: State Machines, CDK, Glue, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, Glacier, RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora, Athena, MSK, Spark, and Python.

Advanced knowledge of programming languages, development tools, and system design principles.

Experience with architecture design, data modeling, and cloud integration.

Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and mentoring abilities; able to lead cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred: AWS Redshift, Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog), AI/ML (SageMaker, Bedrock), Kafka, Hive, and Git.
