Position: GIS Engineer
Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience with GIS based systems (3GIS, ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro etc.)
Experience in maintaining and updating comprehensive records of all physical and logical fiber network assets, including cables, splice points, enclosures, and termination points.
Ensure the accuracy of Geographic Information System (GIS) data and network maps.
Analyze fiber inventory data to identify opportunities for network optimization, capacity planning, and fault resolution.
Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in inventory records and network infrastructure.
Use fiber management and GIS tools like 3-GIS, ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro etc.
