IT Application Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned IT Application Project Manager with a strong background in technology solution delivery, application development, and stakeholder engagement, ideally within the energy sector or a similar industry.

This is a hands-on, onsite role in Arlington, VA, focused on leading application development projects and driving process improvements in a high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full lifecycle IT application projects, from initiation to completion.

• Drive the implementation of technology solutions that align with business needs and strategic goals.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze complex problems and define innovative technology-driven solutions.

• Oversee the development and deployment of new applications and digital tools.

• Develop and enhance business processes and workflows through process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of project goals while managing risk and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional project management experience delivering technology solutions in an energy facility or related industry.

• Proven success in application development and implementation of enterprise-level software solutions.

• Strong background in project planning, execution, and multi-project coordination.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new work processes or significantly improve existing ones.

• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and solution design.

• Ability to recommend and deliver timely, cost-effective technology solutions.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
