Azure Cloud Engineer

Client: TriWest

POP: 12+ months

Location: Remote

SCOPE

The Cloud Engineer will be part of the Hybrid Cloud Services (HCS) team providing solutions for complex mission critical systems providing tiers 2 and 3 support.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree, or higher
  • 5 years experience with the following:
    • Providing technical leadership and assuming overall accountability for the successful management and implementation of customer projects.
    • Experience implementing well-architected/best practices for availability, scalability, and DR; solutioning multi-cloud application environments
    • Experience developing automation and DevOps using cloud native and agnostic tools (e.g., Azure Bicep, ARM, Powershell, Blueprints, Lambda, Terraform, Ansible, Python)
    • Experience with software defined networking for cloud native and marketplace tools (e.g., Palo Altos, Fortinets)
    • Experience configuring and integrating Azure native monitoring to achieve observability.
    • Experience performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to expedite incident resolution
    • Evaluating requests for hardware and software; research and recommend solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.
    • Experience with cloud configuration management, policy management and security compliance
  • Two of the following certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Expert
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with cloud integration with OEM APIs
  • Experience with cloud native security tools and security compliance
  • Experience leading technical teams of three or more individuals
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with IT service management best practices
  • Experience with API integration with ServiceNow Event Management

TASKS

  • Design, develop, and implement multi-hybrid cloud using automation tools and technologies
  • Provide solutions for complex mission critical systems, providing tiers 2 and 3 support.
  • Perform requirements gathering and analysis
  • Provide consultative solutions to customers
  • Solution well-architected frameworks in Azure
