Description
Position Description:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in PPL's digital transformation by leading a team of 3 - 5 developers in migrating from 3 disparate legacy CIS systems to a common instance of SAP IS-U. This team will deliver the necessary integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite and custom microservices.
This role is expected to involve some hands-on software development, though this is a secondary focus compared to leading the development team.
The candidate is expected to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Experience in multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, etc.).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira work management tools.
Prior Electric and/or Gas Utilities industry experience.
Prior experience with large complex enterprise systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Comp Sci, Engineering or a related field and 10+ years of experience in full-stack application development.
Most recent experience in a leadership role as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect.
Deep hands-on experience with SAP BTP with a focus on Integrations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required Technical Skills:
Expertise in C#, .NET Core, Java, and Entity Framework Core.
Extensive knowledge in SQL, RESTful APIs, and Web Services.
Proficient with Git (or similar), Azure DevOps CI/CD, and API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
Knowledge of SOLID principles, secure coding, microservice architecture and SAP clean core methodology.
Strong understanding of integration patterns, cloud architecture, and enterprise application design.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
