About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Consultant to join a high-impact migration project for T-Mobile in Bellevue, WA. This is a customer-facing, on-site role requiring deep technical expertise in Juniper Networks firewalls and proficiency with other leading firewall platforms. You will serve as a trusted advisor, working directly with stakeholders to design, implement, and support secure network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site security expert, building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on support for Juniper SRX Series firewalls and other platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Design and implement network security architectures aligned with business and compliance goals.
• Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and whiteboard discussions.
• Translate complex security concepts into business value for diverse audiences.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., diagrams, runbooks).
• Identify and recommend improvements to the customer's security posture.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to customer and internal teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot firewall logs, traffic flows, and alerts.
• Stay current on threat landscapes and mitigation strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years in network security consulting, engineering, or architecture.
• Strong customer-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
• Deep expertise in Juniper SRX (policies, routing, NAT, VPN, clustering, IPS).
• Experience with at least two additional firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, segmentation, VPNs, and threat mitigation.
• Proficient in CLI tools, packet captures, and log analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects independently and represent the company on-site.
• Preferred certifications: JNCIP-SEC, JNCIE-SEC, CISSP, CCNP Security, PCNSE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures and cloud security (AWS, Azure).
• Working knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python).
• Background in security assessments and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).
