About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled OT/IT Engineer to join our team in Garyville, LA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure performance monitoring, network configuration, system integration, and technical support. This role involves optimizing system performance, designing scalable infrastructure, and maintaining secure and efficient IT/OT environments.

Key Focus Areas

Infrastructure Monitoring & Performance Optimization

  • Hands-on experience with system performance monitoring, data analysis, and performance tuning.

Network Administration & Configuration

  • Strong background in LAN/WAN setup, server configuration, and network troubleshooting.

Technical Support & Incident Management

  • Proven ability to resolve complex hardware/software issues and apply ITSM practices.

Systems Design & Integration

  • Experience designing scalable, secure systems and integrating diverse IT components.

Role Summary

The OT Engineer will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure performance, providing technical support, and contributing to system design and integration efforts. This position requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with senior engineers, and hands-on experience in network and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor infrastructure components and systems for performance issues and anomalies.
  • Analyze data to establish baselines and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on performance tuning and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and resolve complex hardware/software issues.
  • Apply ITSM principles for incident management and system optimization.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for performance metrics and monitoring.
  • Design and configure scalable, secure systems aligned with business needs.
  • Deploy and integrate infrastructure components effectively.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and report recurring issue patterns.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and documentation updates.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to align solutions with operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on experience.
