Position Overview

RM - Flex PLM Development Lead

Role and responsibilities:

• As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle.

• You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support the project.

• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.

• You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.

• Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.

• Expert proficiency in PTC FlexPLM is required.

• Advanced proficiency in Java Spring is recommended, along with advanced proficiency in Software Quality Assurance.

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet project requirements.

• Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and performance.

• Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.

• Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Must have:

• PTC Flex PLM, FlexPLM infra / system admin exp rehosting, cloning, cluster env setup, upgrade, monitoring

Nice to have:

• Retail/Apparel experience

• Years of experience needed: 7-10

• Lead the design and architecture of FlexPLM solutions for new implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

• Define system landscape, integration points (ERP, CAD, PLM, DAM, PIM, etc.), and data flow across enterprise systems.

• Provide technical oversight during solution development, customization, and deployment.

• FlexPLM upgrade and system administration experience.
