Job Title: Product Security Engineer
Location: Saint Louis, MO (Onsite)
Required Qualifications:-
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related Engineering field.
-
DoD IAT/IAM Level 1 certification or higher (e.g., A+, Network+, SSCP, Security+, CAP, GISF, GSLC).

Support the analysis, decomposition, and implementation of DoD Cybersecurity Requirements for embedded systems within the intelligent armament domain (e.g., guided bombs, missiles).

Translate high-level DoD cybersecurity guidelines into actionable requirements and specifications for product teams.
-
Contribute to the full systems engineering lifecycle: design, development, integration, verification & validation, and testing.

Lead and support:
-
Cyber threat analysis
-
Cybersecurity test planning and execution
-
Security support for large-scale events
-
Risk assessments and mitigation strategy development
-
-
Secure boot processes and firmware update mechanisms
-
Ensuring cryptographic integrity of hardware and software
-
Security practices for real-time operating systems (RTOS)
-
Threat modeling within embedded environments
-
Application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) using both NIST and DoD standards
-
Hands-on experience in one or more stages of the engineering lifecycle with a cybersecurity focus
-
Familiarity with systems, networks, and operational environments
-
Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance standards:
-
TEMPEST, DFARS , COMSEC, CNSSI 1253, DoD 8570
-
NIST guidelines: 800-160, 800-53 (Rev 5 & 53A), 800-30, 800-171, 800-55, 800-137, 800-39

Experience with:
-
Cyber Table Tops, Cooperative Vulnerability Assessments, Adversarial Assessments, penetration testing, and threat evaluations
-
Requirements development, CONOPS, and use case modeling
-
Embedded hardware/software development and integration
-
Unit testing, system verification and validation
-
Final acceptance testing and system fielding
-

Involvement in broader engineering activities such as:
-
Requirements Quality Management
-
Operational Concepts development
-
Model-Based Engineering (MBE)
-
Participation in major engineering reviews (e.g., Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review)
-
Preliminary Deployment Assessments and enterprise-level risk management
