Job Details

This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in San Diego, CA; Tempe, AZ; Austin, TX; or Fort Mill, SC, with a leading financial services organization that's scaling its Identity & Access Management (IAM) engineering function. They're hiring a Senior IAM Engineer to help lead the development and integration of their enterprise IAM platform using SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ). This is a technical, hands-on engineering role supporting a mix of new builds, enhancements, and application onboarding.

The team is focused on high-impact work that enables secure access across a highly regulated environment. You'll get to work with experienced IAM architects, developers, and business stakeholders while deepening your expertise in SailPoint IIQ, provisioning, access lifecycle automation, and integration of both in-house and cloud-based applications. Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing SailPoint IIQ solutions
  • Strong knowledge of IIQ components: UIs, connectors, debug tools, provisioning tasks, rules, workgroups, and configurations
  • Solid programming skills in Java
  • Experience with web services (SOAP/XML, REST), SQL DBMS, Active Directory, and LDAP
  • Background in provisioning/deprovisioning workflows and identity lifecycle processes
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience managing complex IAM environments
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Desired Skills & Experience
  • CISSP or J2EE certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and working in agile teams using JIRA
  • Experience developing access request forms and custom workflows
  • Knowledge of shell scripting or Perl
  • Prior experience with SOX compliance and access control modeling
  • Comfortable working across distributed, cross-functional teams
