responsibilities:


  • Lead and Mentor: Oversee a team of software engineers and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Drive Collaboration: Promote a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across all projects.
  • Define Product Vision: Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define a clear product vision that aligns with business objectives and strategy.
  • Manage Delivery: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required scope.
  • Ensure Quality: Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality control processes to maintain high software quality and performance.
  • Champion Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and innovation within the development team.

qualifications:


  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, with a successful track record in software development and team management.
  • Hands-on Java Expertise: Solid, hands-on software development background in Java is a must. You must be able to provide technical guidance to the development team.
  • Team Leadership: Must have proven experience managing and leading a team of software developers.
  • Production Support: Experience with helping to resolve production support issues.
  • Vue 3 Framework: Experience with the Vue 3 Framework.


skills:

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred but not required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
