Job Description:
Job Title: Sr. Salesforce Developer - Field Service
Job Type: Fulltime or Contract (6+ months)
Job Location: Newark, CA
Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 days onsite or 5 days onsite
Rate: $80 on W2, Based on experience, Open to C2C candidates as well.
FSL is mandatory, 3 4 years minimum. They need solid field service experience.
They re looking for a techno functional person with good comm skills because they will be communicating directly with business, but also very strong technically: strong background in TypeScript, Apex, Force.com, FSL, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust Salesforce Field Service solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom applications, integrations, and enhancements using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Configure and customize Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service functionalities, including scheduling, optimization, mobile flows, and work order management.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and maintain high-quality code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, particularly in Field Service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience specifically with Salesforce Field Service.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud implementation and customization.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, data model, security, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and data migration tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with business users and cross-functional teams.
- Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant and/or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Manufacturing background is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree is a plus.
