Description
The IT Support Specialist will support employees and contractors, as well as manage the full lifecycle of IT/OT assets in both business and process networking environments. The position will communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of end-users. Interactions will happen face to face, over the phone, remotely, and virtually.
Duties
  • Provide IT deskside support for employees at the Lafayette location.
  • Also assist with remote, IT support for multiple locations outside of the Lafayette location.
  • Provide White Glove IT service to company executives.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents.
  • Handle Windows 10 & 11, networking, mobile devices and software across a range of business applications.
  • Operate with IS standards, conventions and applicable BU/RU IT Standards Stage.
  • Configure and deliver IT assets to end-users. (e.g. personal computers and mobile phones).
  • Manage the inventory of IT assets for local and remote sites.
  • Use logic and reasoning to research and resolve technical issues.
  • Thoroughly research items prior to escalating for help.
  • Support all IT systems as assigned.
  • Work across global IT support team to share information and best practices.

Environment
  • Onsite, Warehouse environment, minimal office space
  • Tier 2
  • 1st shift core hours
  • Works Monday-Friday, no weekends
  • Requires the ability to walk, bend and stand for periods of time required to perform labor-related duties
  • This position requires frequent visits to the shop floor environment to troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. when moving equipment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
