**Hybrid Position - Remote from Michigan **

Position Description:

GDI&A Tech is seeking a Software Engineer focused on supporting and managing various ML Tools. This role will be integral in a small, cross-functional team, collaborating closely with Tech Anchors, Product Managers, and other stakeholders. The primary responsibility is to manage and support different tools and services across the AIAC platform, providing essential support to end users throughout Ford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Tech Anchors, Product Managers, and Product Owners to manage machine learning tools using Agile Methodology.
• Utilize the latest ML, Gen AI, and Google Cloud Platform technologies and tech stacks.
• Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Discoveries of new tools and technologies to enhance the ML Platform's robustness.
• Collaborate with other software engineers to understand the platform vision, break out tasks, and resolve complex issues.
• Provide proactive end-user support for various ML tools.
• Continuously grow technical capabilities and expertise, guiding other software engineers on the team.

Skills Required:

• Experience with Agile practices in solution delivery.
• Proficiency in OpenShift, Google Cloud Platform, and Gen AI projects.
• Strong understanding of the development lifecycle.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Knowledge of coding and software engineering best practices.

Skills Preferred:

• Self-starter mentality with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science or similar discipline.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
• Openness to learning new technologies.

Experience Required:

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 2+ years of experience with OpenShift, Google Cloud Platform, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
• Understanding or willingness to learn end-to-end Machine Learning and Gen AI technology stack.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience Preferred:

Some experience with Python.

Education Required:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical discipline.

Additional Requirements:

General Coding Proficiency Test Required.
