Job Title: ETL Tester with Medicate functional exp (Healthcare domain)

Location: Preferred Hartford Hub, CT | Alternate Richardson, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ month Contract role
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated ETL Tester with strong SQL skills and experience in cloud data platforms and the healthcare domain (preferably Medicaid). The candidate will play a key role in validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting large-scale testing initiatives in an Agile environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10 years of experience in Information Technology
Must-Have Skills:
Strong understanding of ETL processes and data workflows
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for database validation (multi-joins, aggregations, etc.)
Thorough knowledge of the testing lifecycle and QA best practices
Experience working in large global teams and client-facing roles
Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools
Exposure to test automation strategies in ETL environments
Hands-on experience in the healthcare domain, especially Medicaid
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Prior involvement in cloud data testing projects
Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies and tools
Good to Have:
Automation scripting experience using Python
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), especially BigQuery
