- Primarily a remote role, but candidates should be prepared for occasional, reimbursed travel to on-site working sessions (approx. 2-4 times a year)

Overview:
We are seeking a Mergers & Acquisition Consultant to join the Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance team with a leading healthcare client to assist in managing various Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) projects. This is a critical and hands-on role where you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all IT and cybersecurity-related responses for M&A initiatives. You will work closely with the IT Organization to collect and review responses related to M&A inquiries and develop a knowledge base and repeatable practice to support M&A due diligence. The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly organized individual with a strong background in project execution and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication among team members, clients, and management.
- Organize and lead project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes.
- Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate responses to M&A and divestiture questionnaires.
- Interface with various IT and cybersecurity teams to collect and validate information for M&A due diligence.
- Drive the execution of project milestones and deliverables, ensuring they are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A bachelor s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or management roles.
- Ability to review and interpret requests for a wide range of audiences.
- Experience reviewing documentation for relevance.
- Familiarity with project management software and GRC tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Proven experience in a project management role with a focus on execution, delivery, and managing milestones.
- Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) processes.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- A certification in cyber security or an Information Technology discipline.
- Experience with IT and/or cybersecurity-related projects.
- Background in risk assessments or answering security questionnaires.
- Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
