We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Technician or Level 2 Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and is eager to develop leadership capabilities through hands-on experience and training.
Position Overview:
The technician will lead or support the installation, configuration, termination, and testing of enterprise-level security systems. This includes CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, video analytics, and IP-based systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing projects with minimal supervision and interacting directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in the installation and commissioning of security systems
- Terminate, configure, and test systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
- Organize and manage workload efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Provide general supervision and direction on job sites
- Maintain quality control and ensure customer satisfaction
- Track project progress and report updates as needed
Preferred System Experience:
Access Control:
- Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath
Video Surveillance:
- Axis, Exacq, Milestone, MaxPro, Genetec, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha
Locking Hardware:
- ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite
Intrusion Detection:
- Vista, DSC, Bosch, DMP
Note: Current certifications in any of the above systems are a plus, but not required. We are willing to invest in training for the right candidate.
Required Skills:
- Strong background in installation and service of low-voltage security systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
