Technical Program Manager
A leading global technology company is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support its Net Zero program, focusing on modeling the full life cycle environmental impacts and product carbon footprints (PCFs) of hardware. This role will contribute to improving the quality and consistency of sustainability data and calculations used to drive corporate environmental strategy.
The ideal candidate has strong life cycle assessment (LCA) expertise, experience with technology supply chains, and a passion for using data and tools to advance sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Build and manage life cycle assessments (LCAs) and product carbon footprints (PCFs) for data center and consumer hardware.

Review and enhance existing LCA/PCF methodologies to align with corporate environmental accounting strategies.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders—suppliers, consultants, sourcing teams, engineers, and program managers—to gather product and value chain data.

Research, analyze, and visualize LCA/PCF results to identify emissions hotspots and recommend improvements.

Maintain and update LCA/PCF databases, ensuring data consistency, quality assurance, and completeness.

Model various design and supply chain scenarios to assess environmental impacts.

Support ad-hoc LCA/PCF analyses, data requests, and internal reporting.

Partner with strategy and tool development teams to integrate LCA/PCF data into internal systems and communications.

Stay current on LCA/PCF research, industry trends, and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a data, analytics, or sustainability-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Statistics, or similar).

5–8 years of experience in life cycle modeling, sustainable supply chains, greenhouse gas accounting, or related areas.

Proficiency in LCA software such as GaBi (preferred), SimaPro, IMEC, or equivalent tools.

Strong understanding of LCA/PCF datasets and the selection of appropriate data for electronic components.

Experience with electronics or technology supply chains.

Advanced data analysis, visualization, and interpretation skills; ability to independently manage complex programs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in SQL and data management; excellent critical analysis and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related field.

Experience presenting sustainability data and analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
