Qualifications



  • Proven experience as a Server/Virtualization Engineer, with a focus on VMware infrastructure management and Azure cloud services

  • Extensive knowledge and experience using LDAP/Windows Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hypervisor Experience with Hyper-V and VMware

  • Experienced with multiple AD forest configuration and integrating building trust the forests with Azure AD Knowledge on Azure AD registered device and Azure AD hybrid joined devices.

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing VMware vSphere environments

  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Networking

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification (AZ-305) or equivalent is preferred.



Responsibilities



  • Play a crucial role in transforming our clients' IT landscapes by facilitating the migration from on-premises VMware environments to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure

  • Deep understanding of server and virtualization technologies, along with your expertise in Azure cloud services, you will lead and execute migration projects to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions for our clients

  • Planning and executing end-to-end migration processes from VMware to Azure, including virtual machine (VM) migration, data migration, and network configuration

  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, network engineers, and system administrators, to coordinate migration activities and ensure project milestones are met
