Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Accela - QA Automation Testing
Location: Seattle, WA (Remote)
Job Type: Contractual
Duties / Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support the testing of its Accela Civic Platform modules and integrations. The QA Tester will work to validate new functionality, perform regression testing, and support platform stability across permitting systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in QA for Accela environments and familiarity with systems.
Responsibilities:
- Execute functional, regression, and integration tests for Accela implementation and related systems.
- Create and manage detailed test cases (manual and automated) based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure test coverage and solution testability.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues in both preproduction and production environments.
- Validate integrations with systems such as Bluebeam, ESRI ArcGIS, and state licensing platforms.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts related to QA standards and documentation.
Qualifications (Required):
- At least 5 years of experience testing Accela Automation and customized Accela Citizen Access (ACA) environments.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Accela implementations for a Municipal or State Department of Transportation.
- Understanding of Accela platform configuration and scripting impacts from a QA/test perspective.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
