Job Title: Product Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager II to lead the development and execution of product features within a content-focused platform. This role involves collaborating with technical teams (such as engineers, developers, and data scientists), UX designers, and other product teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. The position requires strong ownership of product development plans and the ability to propose new features based on a deep understanding of stakeholders and market trends.
Responsibilities:
Customer Focus
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements and anticipate needs.
  • Prioritize customer requirements while maintaining product viability.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform product decisions.
  • Predict short-term market changes and their impact on the product.

Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to solve business problems.
  • Make trade-off decisions between potential product capabilities.
  • Evaluate product hypotheses using quantitative methods (e.g., A/B testing).
  • Generate insights from product data to inform new ideas.

Go-to-Market & Product Marketing
  • Support go-to-market strategies by communicating requirements and timelines.
  • Assist with launch plans and provide training for internal teams.
  • Respond to questions about product features, pricing, and value proposition.
  • Contribute to sales collateral and customer-facing materials.

Product Delivery & Development
  • Address customer issues through product enhancements aligned with business goals.
  • Participate in product discovery and manage portions of the product lifecycle.
  • Understand SDLC processes (e.g., Agile) and contribute to development planning.

Strategy & Commercial Acumen
  • Define strategic vision and priorities for assigned product features.
  • Use competitive analysis to guide product direction.
  • Develop business cases and product development plans, including budgeting.

Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in product management or product ownership.
  • Proven ability to own and deliver product features or entire products.
  • Experience creating business cases, product plans, and engaging with customers.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong technical aptitude; proficiency with tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or related field preferred.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.
