Location: Hybrid Charlotte, NC (Mon, Thurs, Fri in-office)
Employment Type: W2 Contract (12 months)

Role Overview:

A leading utility company is seeking a Data Analyst III to join their Customer Experience & Operations Analytics Team. This role involves building and enhancing Power BI dashboards, supporting a cloud-based contact center platform launch, and delivering strategic insights to business leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and data models
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL and cloud platforms
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Lead stakeholder engagement to gather and refine reporting requirements
  • Present dashboards and analysis clearly to leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and support key analytics initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, etc.)
  • 6+ years of professional experience in data analytics and visualization
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX, dataflows, visualizations)
  • Proficiency in SQL for data modeling and transformation
  • Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Familiarity with AWS Redshift / A3S
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling and data mining
  • Familiarity with Genesys / Elevate 360 platform
  • Proven ability to lead special projects and present to executive stakeholders
