Responsibilities
- Design automation systems for greenfield, brownfield, and retrofit projects to improve operational efficiency
- Manage large-scale automation projects to meet performance and cost objectives
- Act as technical liaison with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to align on project requirements
- Develop and execute acceptance test plans to validate automation systems
- Oversee installation and commissioning of automation projects with Facilities and operations teams
- Integrate Warehouse Execution Systems with Warehouse Management Systems using APIs
- Apply safety-by-design principles to automation solutions
- Optimize system architecture and processes using statistical analysis and Lean Principles
- Utilize CAD software and simulation tools like FlexSim for system design
- Travel globally up to 30% to support project deployments and vendor collaborations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in automation, industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, CAD software, and simulation tools like FlexSim
- Expertise in leading automation and robotics projects from concept to completion
- Experience with advanced material handling systems, robotics, or high-speed manufacturing
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with integrating Warehouse Execution Systems and Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to apply Lean Principles to process design
- Strong project management skills for handling multiple concurrent projects
- Willingness to travel globally up to 30%

$64,800 - $140,400/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
