RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Senior Program Manager in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate project activities to ensure alignment with plans and goals for main and sub-projects
* Identify risks and schedule impacts for individual projects
* Report project status, timelines, and risks to management; forecast releases and timelines for upcoming fiscal years
* Track financial progress, costs, and resources as needed
* Develop detailed project plans, checklists, and budgets within time, funding, and staffing constraints
* Gather requirements through JAD sessions, interviews, workflow and process analysis
* Prepare support plans for quality control, risk management, change management, and testing
* Ensure compliance with established project management methodology and quality standards
* Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, SMEs, and leadership
* Lead documentation efforts to meet user needs and approval requirements
* Present project updates, lead meetings, and manage related activities
* Create weekly status reports; Escalate unresolved issues/risks to management
* Monitor testing and production environments
* Stay current on industry trends and share best practices
* Serve as subject matter expert to guide and support teams
* Perform related duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in related field; PMP preferred
* 3+ years in IT project management, including complex cross-functional projects; PPM experience a plus
* Experience with risk assessment, planning, and large-scale environments
* Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile principles, and project management methodologies
* Skilled in requirements documentation, JAD sessions, and change management
* Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Jira, and Visio
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills; Able to manage priorities and deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
